Warm Greetings from Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (Polytechnic), Lohegaon Pune.

            When you chose RIT Polytechnic for your child, you placed something precious in our care — their future. I want you to know that we accept that trust with the seriousness it deserves. Your child is not a roll number on our register; they are a young engineer in the making, and our entire faculty and staff are committed to walking alongside them through this formative journey.

A diploma is more than a qualification. It is the bridge between curiosity and capability — the years in which a student discovers not just what they can do, but who they want to become. At RIT Polytechnic, we have built our programs in Computer, AIML, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering around this belief. Approved by AICTE and affiliated to MSBTE, our curriculum is rigorous, but our environment is supportive. We pair strong technical foundations with the soft skills, discipline, and confidence that employers and society look for today.

I want to assure you of a few things directly.

• On safety and well-being: Our campus is a clean, disciplined, and respectful space. We maintain a strict anti-ragging policy, a dedicated Women's Grievance Redressal Cell, a SHe-Box compliant complaint system, and active mentorship so that no student ever feels unheard or unsafe. Our hostel, transportation, library, and cafeteria are managed with the same care we would expect for our own children.

• On academics and careers: Through our Training & Placement Cell, students engage with leading recruiters and gain real industry exposure long before they graduate. Our initiatives — RITP Tarang, RIT Ratna Awards, RITECH, internship support, and the "After Diploma?" guidance program — ensure that whether your child chooses to pursue a degree, an industry role, or entrepreneurship, they leave us prepared.

• On communication: Education works best when home and institute speak in one voice. I encourage you to stay actively involved — attend parent interactions, reach out to class teachers and HODs, and never hesitate to write to me directly. My office and inbox are always open to you.

• Your child will face challenges during these three years — academic, personal, and emotional. That is the nature of growing up. Please trust the process, stay patient with their progress, and partner with us when concerns arise. Together, we can help them become not only skilled professionals but also responsible, grounded human beings — true RITians

           To ensure holistic development, RIT Polytechnic has created an active student ecosystem through “Student RITP ClubSphere,” where students are encouraged to participate in various technical, creative, social, and leadership-oriented clubs. These clubs provide opportunities for students to discover their talents, improve interpersonal skills, and develop innovative thinking beyond academics.

            Participation in these clubs helps students enhance creativity, technical expertise, teamwork, leadership qualities, communication skills, social awareness, and confidence. Through competitions, exhibitions, cultural programs, innovation activities, coding events, environmental initiatives, and community engagement, students gain practical exposure and all-round personality development.

In addition to academic and club activities, the institute has introduced several Student Empowerment Programs aimed at enhancing students’ technical knowledge, career readiness, innovation, and industry exposure.

               These empowerment programs provide students with opportunities for skill-based learning, coding practice, industry certifications, entrepreneurship development, cloud computing exposure, and hands-on technical training aligned with current industry requirements. Such initiatives help students become future-ready professionals capable of excelling in competitive and evolving technological environments.

          The institute is also creating valuable opportunities for practical industry exposure through in-campus internship collaborations. One such initiative is the collaboration with Acumen AI-Tech through StarsIntern, which provides students with internship opportunities, AI-powered simulation learning, global exposure, and career-oriented training experiences. These programs help students strengthen professional skills, gain real-world industry understanding, and prepare confidently for future careers in technology and innovation.

        To recognize and encourage outstanding student contributions, the institute has also introduced special initiatives such as the “RIT Ratna Award” for deserving students and the “Best Class Award” to motivate collective excellence, discipline, participation, and academic performance among students. Such recognitions inspire students to develop leadership qualities, healthy competition, social responsibility, and a spirit of excellence.

        We also believe that extracurricular involvement plays a significant role in reducing stress, improving interpersonal skills, and preparing students to face real-world challenges with confidence and responsibility.

         Dear Parents, your involvement in your child’s educational progress plays a vital role in shaping their future. We request your continuous encouragement in maintaining regular attendance, discipline, positive learning habits, and active participation in academic as well as co-curricular activities.
